Welcome to the Matrix

This domain hosts a secure, private Synapse Matrix Homeserver. Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralized, real-time communication.

To communicate with users on this server, you do not need a web interface here. Instead, you connect using a dedicated Matrix client.

How to Connect

Follow these steps to securely connect to this server and start chatting.

• Step 1: Download a Client
  You need a Matrix client. We highly recommend Element, available for Desktop, iOS, and Android. Alternatively, you can use FluffyChat.
• Step 2: Launch the App
  Open your downloaded client and click on Sign In or Create Account.
• Step 3: Edit the Homeserver
  By default, clients connect to matrix.org. You must change this to connect to our server. Look for an "Edit" or "Change Server" button.
• Step 4: Enter our Domain
  Enter the domain of this server in the homeserver URL field:
  matrix.demmler.de
• Step 5: Authenticate
  Proceed to log in with your credentials or register a new account. To obtain the periodically updated registration key, please contact info@demmler.dev.
