How to Connect

Session & Token Notice

The login session, including an access token, is stored device-specific. Signing out deletes the token permanently.

Save your recovery key! Without it or an active session elsewhere, you cannot decrypt old messages after logout. You can quickly enable this in your client's settings.

Logging in on another device requires either your recovery key or verification via an active session.

Step 1: Download a Client
A Matrix client is required. See available clients at matrix.org/ecosystem/clients. For a quick start: Element (Desktop/iOS/Android) or FluffyChat (recommended for Android & multi-account).
Step 2: Launch the App
Open the downloaded client and click on Sign In or Create Account.
Step 3: Edit the Homeserver
By default, clients connect to matrix.org. Change it. Look for an "Edit" or "Change Server" button.
Step 4: Enter our Domain
Enter the domain of this server in the homeserver URL field:

Step 5: Authenticate
Proceed to log in with your credentials or register a new account. This requires a periodically updated registration key.

💡 Recommendation: Use Element on desktop for the most stable experience. Use FluffyChat on Android if you need multiple accounts or a more modern mobile UI. For multi-user support on desktops, use Commet. For a full list of clients, visit matrix.org/ecosystem/clients.
